Dear Parents,
As we begin day 2 of our second week of social distancing my heart is full. My teachers are the BEST ever and I’m so proud of them. They have worked endless hours preparing special curriculum plans and activities to share with your children. As I read over each class unit before it was sent to you, I am in awe of the professional organization skills and creative talents present in each classroom teacher and assistant teacher. It validates to me that the excellence and professional credentials that our school requires make a huge difference. But more importantly, the compassion, warmth, love and empathy shown within each of them is the reason I hired them and the reason our school is extra special.
Attached is a bedtime story, Goodnight Moon, that you may share with your little ones as you tuck them in bed tonight. Enjoy & don’t forget your bedtime prayers with your child. Again, thank you for your patience for my southern accent in the video.
Thank you for your continued prayers and love for our staff, children, families, church and country. We are still hoping and praying to be back in school by April 15th, but we will continue to follow the trusted direction of our governor,mayor and state professionals who are working so hard to keep us well and safe.
In closing, I am reminded of this prayer:
Please give us strength and courage Lord, to do the things we know we should, and nudge us when our faith is weak to remind us
YOU are always there. “We can do all things through God who gives us strength.” Philippians 4:13
